PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ
INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
2. Start by removing the two bolts securing the lip of the rear bumper cover as seen in (Fig 1)
also remove the plastic clips the bolts screwed into seen in (Fig 1A), with the bolt & the clips
removed. Starting on the Passenger/right side select the Passenger/right side Mounting
bracket and secure the side of the mounting bracket with the (1) 8mm x 25mm hex bolt (2)
8mm flat washer (1) 8mm lock washer and (1) 8mm nut, as shown in (Fig 2) Snug but do not
tighten.
3. With the bracket in place & secured remove the factory bumper nut located Just above the
bumper lip on the inner side as seen in (Fig 3) select the Passenger/right side brace bracket
and slide it over the stud & re attach the factory nut attach the mount bracket to the bottom of
the factory bumper bracket with (1) 8mm x 35mm hex bolt (2) 8mm flat washer (1) 8mm lock
washer and (1) 8mm nut, as seen in (Fig 3) Snug but do not tighten.
4. Select the Driver/left side Mounting bracket and secure the side of the mounting bracket with
the (1) 8mm x 25mm hex bolt (2) 8mm flat washer (1) 8mm lock washer and (1) 8mm nut, as
shown in (Fig 4) Snug but do not tighten.
5. With the side secured remove the factory bumper nut located Just above the bumper lip on the
inner side near the muffler as seen in (Fig 5) select the Driver/left side brace bracket and slide
it over the nut re attach the nut and secure it along with the mount bracket to the bottom of the
factory bumper bracket with (1) 8mm x 35mm hex bolt (2) 8mm flat washer (1) 8mm lock
washer and (1) 8mm nut, as seen in (Fig 6 & 6A) Snug but do not tighten.
6. Now that the mounting brackets are installed select the rear bumper attach the rear bumper to
the outside edge of the mounting brackets & secure with the (2) 8mm x 25mm hex bolt (4)
8mm flat washer (2) 8mm lock washer and (2) 8mm nut, per side Snug but do not tighten.
7. Align the rear bumper to the desired location; then tighten all hardware.
8. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to
add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives
that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish.
Mild soap may be used also to clean the Product.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Product.
